We Can’t Wait To Meet You

What To Expect

Planning your first visit? We’d love to welcome you and help you feel right at home. Join us for a warm, friendly time of worship, meaningful teaching, and genuine community as we grow together in faith.

  • How long is a Liberty service?

In total, a Liberty service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the Liberty Worship team leading the church in worship - song lyrics are projected onto a big central screen so you can participate with the worship however you feel most comfortable. After worship, one of our pastors or leaders will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

  • What's the culture like at Liberty?

Sunday's at Liberty are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Liberty is a church for everyone! It is a place where you can meet great people and be a part of a family. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest!

  • What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have an awesome experience at church every single week - and at Liberty Kids, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Liberty Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Liberty Kids experience. Liberty Kids is offered at every 9:30am Sunday service for kids ages infant through to Year 7.

Our Values

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

God is Good

God is a good Father who works all things together for good, and the life of Jesus perfectly reveals His goodness. We follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and celebrate God’s presence with gratitude and worship. We believe miracles, signs, and wonders continue today as we live to glorify the Creator.

Mark 10:18; Romans 8:28; Romans 8:14; John 10:27; Psalm 95:2; Psalm 100:4; Acts 3:16; Romans 15:18–19; Acts 19:11–12; 1 Peter 2:9; Romans 8:19; Psalm 66:4; Acts 10:38; Hebrews 1:3

God's Word is Alive

God’s Word is living, active, and fully relevant for our lives today, revealing truth and guiding us in faith. All Scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Himself is the Word made flesh. As we speak and live by faith, we recognize the power of our words to bring life.

Hebrews 4:12; Proverbs 18:21; Hebrews 10:38; Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Timothy 3:16; John 1:14

Love and Honour Everyone

We honour the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and we honour the inherent value and dignity of every person created by God. Love and honour shape how we live, as we are called to love God, love people, and walk in humility toward others. We believe honour has the power to transform lives, relationships, and communities.

1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 5:16; 1 Timothy 2:4; Matthew 6:4–5; Luke 10:27

We Are Family

Family reflects the heart and government of Heaven, where identity as sons and daughters is established by the Father. Within God’s family, people discover their true identity and grow together toward their destiny. We serve one another in love, expressing the heart of Christ through humility and care.

Ephesians 3:14–15; Mark 1:11; Ephesians 3:15; Galatians 5:13

Empowerment Through Identity

God calls every believer to be equipped and empowered for the work of ministry. As disciples of Jesus, we are sent to impact our city and make disciples of others. Through renewed minds and our identity in Christ, we are transformed and reveal the glory of God to the world.

Ephesians 4:11–14; Matthew 28:19; Romans 12:2; Colossians 1:27

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • Biblical Authority

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and infallible Word of God. It contains the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of humanity and stands as the final authority in all matters of Christian faith and life.

    2 Timothy 3:16

  • Triune God

We believe there is only one God, the Creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    1 John 5:4–7

  • Christ’s Divinity

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, and His vicarious and atoning death in which He shed His blood for the redemption of all people.

  • Christ’s Return

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, His ascension to the right hand of the Father where He serves as our High Priest and Advocate, and His personal return in power and glory.

    1 Corinthians 15:3; 1 Peter 2:21–24; John 3:16

  • Human Salvation

We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost. Salvation and spiritual life come only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit, made possible through the shed blood and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

    Romans 3:21–30; Galatians 4:4–7

  • Holy Spirit

We believe the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. He indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers believers for godly living and service, producing the fruit of the Spirit and operating through the gifts of the Spirit according to His will.

    John 14:6; Acts 1:5, 8; Acts 2:2–4; 1 Corinthians 12–14; Galatians 5:22–23

  • Prayer Life

We believe every born-again, Spirit-filled believer should maintain a consistent and active prayer life. This includes praying with understanding as well as praying in the Spirit.

    Ephesians 6:18; 1 Corinthians 14:14–15

  • Faith Provision

We believe that without faith it is impossible to please God. Through the atonement of Christ, believers receive salvation, healing, and provision, and are redeemed from the curse of the law as they walk in faith and obedience to God’s Word.

    Hebrews 11:6; Isaiah 53:5; Galatians 3:13; James 5:14–16

  • The Church

We believe the true church is made up of all who are born again and spiritually united in the body of Christ. As His body, we grow to become more like Christ, who is the Lord and Head of the church, and each local church has the right to govern its own affairs under Him.

    John 3:3, 5; Ephesians 4:15–16

  • Biblical Marriage

We believe marriage, according to Scripture, is a covenant between one man and one woman who become one flesh. God created humanity male and female in His image and instructed them to be fruitful and multiply.

    Genesis 1:27–28; Genesis 2:24
